Current 2024:

The direct line between Blue Hors and our Stallion Station was a good success in 2023 and will therefore be continued in 2024!

This means that the sem*n of these stallions is delivered the same day to our Stallion Station in Heerewaarden on the following days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Orders for St. Schufro, Monte Carlo, and Santiano can be placed daily (except Sundays) until 9:00 am. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays the sem*n is delivered to our Stallion Station in Heerewaarden around 7:00 PM (if you wish for another Blue Hors stallion, please contact us one day before).

The sem*n can then be picked up at our station after 7:30 PM or we will inseminate it the same evening, at no extra cost, at your mare's stable (max. 50-60 km from our station in Heerewaarden).

However, NVWA paper costs are charged per delivery due to imports from Denmark.

The sem*n can also be shipped the next day with HippoXpress. The shipping costs will then be charged.

Orders placed on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday can be inseminated by us on your mare that same day, collected at our station or delivered with HippoXpress throughout the Netherlands.

NB! The above delivery conditions only apply to the first 3 orders/deliveries. From the 4th order/delivery, €75,- per order will be charged (excl. shipping costs from HippoXpress within NL and NVWA paper costs).

Blue Hors Monte Carlo has very good sperm quality.

We try to provide a fast and direct service to the Dutch breeder for the period 01 April - 01 August.

2023 was a real success year for Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC. Under the saddle of Nanna Skodborg Merrald he won the Danish Pavo Cup for six-year-old dressage horses. The KWPN premium stallion, bred by Tim Coomans, achieved a score of 91.4%. Walk (9.2), trot (9.0), canter (8.8), and rideability (9.5). What a great achievement!
But Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC also seems very special as a breeding stallion. In 2020, after the KWPN Stallion Inspection, he went to Denmark where he became one of the best breeding stallions. In the Netherlands he was used much less and he only produced eleven foals, five of them colts. Of those five, three young stallions came to the KWPN selection in Ermelo and all three were selected for the 2nd viewing. In Den Bosch Royal Edition A ds. Florencio bred by Yvonne Ackermans from Heerewaarden and Red Spirit ds. Daily Diamond bred by Fam. Ten Bosch from Driel were selected for the KWPN Performance Test.

2021
Our stallion Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC showed a very good collection of foals in 2021. Many foals were highly placed and sold at a high price during the various foal inspections and auctions throughout Europe. At the KWPN offspring inspection in Ermelo he received very positive comments from the KWPN Stallion jury; generally well-developed foals. The neck is well used in movement, the trot is uphill and light-footed and some foals show very good use of the foreleg. The canter is uphill with a good jump and impulsion.

What achievements Blue Hors Monte Carlo has already achieved. As a 2.5 year old stallion, he was the trendsetter at the KWPN Stallion Inspection in Den Bosch, received several applause from the enthusiastic audience and was therefore a Premium Stallion during this KWPN Stallion Inspection 2020. He was then sold for half to Blue Hors in DK and also became Premium Stallion at the Danish Stallion Inspection in March. This was followed by a fantastic 14-day test in Vilhemsborg and then a good breeding season. He had a lot of rest over the summer and built up a bit again in the autumn towards the KWPN Performance Test. He also completed this examination very well and became reserve champion with a score of 87.5 points and only 0.5 points behind the winner.

2020
The 14-day test in Denmark was a great competition. All 3-year-old young dressage stallions purchased by Andreas Helgstrand also participated. The overall winner was our stallion Monte Carlo and Iron.

Monte Carlo was the trendsetter at our KWPN Stallion Inspection in Den Bosch on Friday with his strong and powerful movements. He got his hands on each other in the cage as well as in the hand.

Pedigree:
Dream Boy, the father of Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC, has been very successful at the highest level in dressage for a number of years under Hans Peter Minderhoud. For example, they were part of the Silver Dutch team during the European Championships in Rotterdam in 2019 and the duo was tenth during the World Cup final in Gothenburg that year. The star mare Gina Ballerina is the mother of Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC. Her father is the Grand Prix stallion United (by Krack C) and she is the half-sister of the Grand Prix horse Annette Ballerina (by Scandic) of the British Claire Gallimore. Their mother Redensie preferent performance (by Jazz) also produced a Prix St. Georges horse from San Amour and a Z horse from United. The Grand Prix horse Esperanza (by Desperados) of Jasmien de Koeyer is a granddaughter of Redensie, just like the Small Tour horse Hensie Ballerina (by Blue Hors Zack). We know great-grandmother Densie (by Vincent) as the mother of the Grand Prix horse Bolero (by Johnson) of Morgan Barbançon Mestre, and she produced a Z horse by Jazz. In addition, she can handle well-known horses such as Annelin (by Painted Black, Small Tour), KWPN stallion Son de Niro (by De Niro) and the Big Tour horses Zoraida (by Painted Black) and Glendale (by Ampére) counts various Z and ZZ horses among her offspring. The Grand Prix horse BMC Murdock (by Balzflug) of Lorraine van den Brink also comes from this mother line.

Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC is an honest and reliable stallion with a very good attitude. The stallion is very willing to work and is easy to train. The walk is very tactful, active, striding, with very good scope and good flexibility. The trot has a lot of power and impulsion, has good scope with good foreleg technique, and the hind leg carries well. The canter is uphill with very good power, impulsion and scope and good balance. Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC moves with a good posture, a lot of balance and a lot of flexibility. Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC has a lot of talent as a dressage horse and gives his rider a very good feeling.
